Advice on my resume
20
It's very long:/.
I put a ridiculous amount of effort into delivering a creative and memorable first impression in order to stand out among the other traditional or generic resumes.
There are 2 reasons that I do this:
1. I try to distract from the fact that I have VERY limited education and draw attention to a plethora of other lucrative skills and other valuable attributes that I know are highly sought after in any field.
2. I am really not very interested in working for or with anyone who would be immediately put off by a different approach or new ideas.
I don't believe that I would ever be applying to the type of business that would use an automated system to sort thru resumes.
I have been working almost exclusively in a single field my whole life but I'm very much wanting to try something new. I have no idea how to convey that message to potential employers.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks:) ~MJ
