I consider myself a Jane of all trades, but a few years ago I got my associates degree in culinary arts, hospitality management & baking/pastries.
I've gone to art school, studied architecture, early childhood education, interior design & business management. I've also been a photographer, writer, party planner, proof reader, manager, administrative assistant, personal assistant, house keeper, office cleaner, sales person, cashier & so many other things I can't even remember.
I also sew, do scrap booking, great at dyi projects, love making costumes & took a stage makeup & costume design class. Newbie at cosplaying and becoming more active in immersive communities in my area, mainly of the pirate and gypsy sort as I'm pretty sure I have gypsy blood running through my veins.
I have lived in 5 states and more than a dozen different cities with populations ranging from 433 to 8 million.
I'm well versed in different! I know the strength of knowledge, I welcome knowledge in every form and hope I don't go a single day without learning something. As I get older I get wiser and am happy to share all I've learned as well as my talents with others. A friend of mine once said "our lives are shaped by the tragedies we endure."
If mine can serve as an example to prevent the heartache of others, than it least it wasn't all for nothing.
I've also started painting miniatures recently and seem to have a knack for it.
I'm looking forward to rejoining this movement as I took about a 5 year hiatus while my life got back on track.
