I am an herbalist, mother, gardener, earth steward, and beekeeper living in southern Chester county, Pennsylvania. I believe in living simply and authentically, with a deep connection to the earth and other beings we share this planet with. My work is with the healing plants… growing and wildcrafting, making medicine, teaching others about the herbs, and providing consultations to help people incorporate the healing plants into their lives.
I have studied with many teachers since the 1990s, including Rosemary Gladstar, Susan Hess, Cathy Skipper, Ashley Elenbaas, and Thomas Easley. My own philosophy is one of deep respect for the plants and earth. I believe the plants have much to offer us, but we must also cultivate a respectful and sustainable relationship with them. My whole practice, from medicine-making to teaching to working with people incorporates this philosophy.
We are at a crossroads in human history. We are offered the opportunity to change our relationship with the earth, its inhabitants, with ourselves, and with one another. I believe the plants are an integral part of this process and have much wisdom and guidance to share with us on this journey.
