I will be your Artists' Model for a Life Drawing session. I will be your drawing coach at the same time if you need help. Details to be discussed. As an artist I know how difficult it is to get a private session with someone who understands how to remain motionless and not to move when an artist is building a scene or sketching a pose for a more detailed work. Can do this in person if you are Montreal or Ottawa area, or on line if you can stream to your big screen T.V. with your PC or laptop. We can figure it out. I have excellent hair to be left down and slightly wavy for interesting lines or put up for a classical pose. You can do quick poses, or long poses depending of your artist needs. If you want to do a portrait that is fine too. I am located in a very interesting area in Hochelaga near Viau metro and there are plenty areas to do that are visually interesting for drawing or painting a plein d'air. I can coach you in painting, or drawing while I pose. I have been at this for 4 decades. I can teach you how to really see and trick your brain into really understanding what you are drawing or looking at, instead of drawing what you are supposed to see. Drawing is a focusing technique after all. I believe that everyone is capable of drawing. You just have to learn this say to see, this focusing technique. 20 Simbi per session unit which is 10 minutes. Happy to trade for help with languages. Maybe even do it at the same time!
Training & Qualifications
I am qualified because I have spend many hours over the years sketching Artists Models and have an inside knowledge of what is needed. My family member has been an artists model for years, and has taught me what is necessary from her professional point of view, to be the model too. I am a great deal for someone that wants to practice doing a character model. I am a senior, with interesting hair for line and contour, and have expression due to age and lines on my hands and face. I can be physically present if you are in Montreal or Ottawa and my timing if flexible as I am a self-employed stone carver who can be available when needed.
