What was the music that Jane Austin would have listened or danced to and maybe sang? Need inspiration for writing a school paper paper about music? How and where did opera begin and is there really a fat lady? What's the history of Jazz? Who were Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Ornette Coleman? Do Jazz and Classical music use the same music theory? And what about film scores?
I can talk about all these topics and help you understand how it all fits together. We have a great heritage that stretches back hundreds of years that is fascinating and gets more interesting the more you know about it. Training & Qualifications
I have B. M. from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a M. M. form the Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University. I have also played in the New World Symphony and studied opera singing. I have also been involved in period instruments both as a performer and festival organizer.
