Breakdance lesson
15
It doesn't matter if you are already a dancer, or if you're completely rhythm illiterate, I will teach you basic beginner moves, and if you're up for the challenge, we can move on to intermediate and expert moves! Breaking is so much more than just doing dynamic spinning moves on the floor.
If you're a beginner, I will mostly teach you about the four categories of movements (toprock, footwork, freeze, powermove), while working on groove, style, and understanding rhythm. For intermediate level, we will look at transitions, freeze stackings, practice drills, powermoves ranging from swipes to flares.
The general breakdown of the hour is 5-10 minutes warm up and stretch, 5-10 minutes demo of a move (x3 moves), 10-15 minutes practice of those moves (time break down is variable). Obviously, prepare to sweat! Your upper body and core will take a toll ;)
You can be the life of the party for the rest of your life!
PS: I can also teach a group of people too if you want to do it with friends (extra Simbi? we'll talk)
